Pakistan Test captain Shan Masood was captured having an animated discussion with newly-appointed head coach Jason Gillespie during the fourth day (August 24) of the first Test against Bangladesh.
Pakistan's bowlers had a tough day on the field as Mushfiqur Rahim, aided by some lower-order resistance, frustrated the hosts with a valiant batting display.
The home side picked an all-pace attack for the match, with Agha Salman as the only spin-bowling option, raising questions about whether the decision had backfired.
In a viral video, Masood was seen having an animated discussion with Jason Gillespie. By the looks of it, Gillespie quietly listened while the hosts’ skipper seemingly voiced his discontent.

Commentator Urooj Mumtaz narrated the incident, describing it as a “heated moment” between the two.
Mushfiqur's good form continues
Bangladesh were eventually dismissed for 565 runs in the final session in reply to Pakistan's 448-6, with Mushfiqur, contributing with a stunning 191, continuing his late-career surge. His marathon knock of 341 deliveries lasted eight hours and 42 minutes. He stitched a 196-run stand for the seventh wicket with Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who scored a 179-ball 77. In the process, the duo bettered New Zealand's Warren Lees and Richard Hadlee's 186 in 1976, to record the highest seventh-wicket partnership against Pakistan.
Riding on the knock, Mushfiqur now owns four out of the six highest individual Test scores by Bangladesh batters. His 219 not out against New Zealand at Mirpur in 2018 tops the list.
With only a day left, a rare draw looks likely. Pakistan went to stumps at 23-1.
