Ambidextrous spinner from England

Watch: Ben Kellaway, a 20-year-old all-rounder from England, raised eyebrows during the Glamorgan-Surrey One Day Cup fixture on Sunday (July 28) when he picked up wickets bowling with both his left and right hands.

Ben Kellaway made his professional debut last year for Glamorgan, and has since played nine T20s, two first-class matches, and nine List A games. However, the One Day Cup game against Surrey was the first of his professional career where he bowled with both hands.

Glamorgan fielded first, and Kellaway was called upon to bowl in the 14th over. His first spell was of two overs, costing five runs, before he returned for a five-over spell in the 26th over.

On the fourth ball of the 32nd over of the innings, Kellaway's sixth, he bowled right-handed Conor McKerr with an arm-ball bowling left-arm orthodox from around the wicket. In the very next over, he then trapped left-handed Matt Dunn plumb lbw bowling right-arm off-spin to finish his spell with 2-16 from seven overs.

Surrey were eventually bowled out for 121. Glamorgan made short work of the chase, gunning down the target in 15.5 overs with seven wickets to spare.
