
New Zealand fast bowler Jacob Duffy sprung to fifth place on the ICC Men’s T20I rankings for bowlers after an excellent series against Pakistan.
Having already taken a 3-1 lead, New Zealand completed a 4-1 rout in the five-match home T20I series against Pakistan. Leading the way was Duffy, with 4-14, 2-20, 1-37, 4-20, and 2-18. The first two games, in the previous week, had resulted in him jumping from 35th to 12th in the rankings. The next two games this week put him at fifth place, at par with Adam Zampa.
Haris Rauf of Pakistan, meanwhile, rose 11 places up the rankings: he is now 15th, the best from his nation. The list is headed by Akeal Hosein.

Among batters, Tim Seifert remained at 13th, Finn Allen rose from 18th to 16th, but Glenn Phillips dropped from 24th to 31st. Babar Azam (eighth) and Mohammed Rizwan (ninth), Pakistan’s top-ranked batters, missed the series, but that did not affect their ranking. Travis Head retained his top spot.
