The Australia quick took to Instagram to share two clips from different games where bowlers went unpunished after throwing the ball at the striking batter – one of the clips was involved Marnus Labuschagne.
In the video, Labuschagne of Queensland had picked up the ball after a straight drive from South Australia’s Jake Carder before throwing towards the batter’s stumps. However, Carder was hit in the process but Labuschagne escaped without any sanctions.
The other video that was shared by Pattinson involved Queensland spinner Matthew Kuhnemann throwing the ball towards the stumps, only for Tasmania batter Charlie Wakim to be hit on the body.
