Shakib Al Hasan has been reported for an illegal bowling action during his County Championship appearance for Surrey last month.
Shakib played a one-off match for Surrey ahead of the India tour – potentially his last Test series – as the county team had eight England players unavailable due to national commitments. Shakib's inclusion couldn't help prevent Somerset's 111-run win, even as Surrey still ended up winning their third title in a row.
Now, close to two months on, Shakib has been reported for an illegal action by the ECB. He took nine wickets in the game, bowling over 63 over in total, but was noted by the on-field umpires Steve O'Shaughnessy and David Millns to have a dodgy action. He wasn't no-balled by them at any point.
ESPNcricinfo reports that Shakib could undergo tests to remedy the action.

"The matter has no connection to international cricket or domestic cricket in other countries. The matter is under ECB jurisdiction and not related to ICC or other boards," said a Bangladesh Cricket Board official, as per Cricbuzz.
Shakib's Test future remains in doubt after he had indicating at playing a farewell series against South Africa at home, but wasn't named in the squad. While being one of Bangladesh's most accomplished players, his career has been beset with controversies of varying kinds.
