India cricketer Sai Sudharsan took a fantastic diving catch at point to dismiss Rocky Flintoff on the latter's County Championship debut on Thursday.

Surrey took on Lancashire at the Oval in Division One of the County Championship. The visitors named two first-class debutants in their lineup in Joshua Boyden and Rocky Flintoff, son of former England all-rounder Andrew. Venkatesh Iyer also made his County Championship debut for the club.

Surrey won the toss and chose to field first, striking early as Luke Wells was bowled by Jordan Clark for nine. Flintoff came to the crease with the score reading 33-2, replacing captain Keaton Jennings. The 16-year-old put on 40 for the third wicket with Josh Bohannon, before the latter was dismissed.

Flintoff himself would depart soon after, for a well-compiled 32. On the first ball after the lunch break, he tried to drive Dan Worrall on the up through covers, but a hint of away movement meant the batter had to stretch, and he lost control of his shot.

The ball went off the bottom of Flintoff's bat towards the point region, where Surrey's overseas star Sai Sudharsan flung himself to his left to pluck it inches off the ground, and complete a breathtaking catch.
