Watch: Ollie Robison, making his comeback in the 2022 County Championship after he was sidelined due to a back injury in May, picked up the wicket of Haseeb Hameed with a beauty during the clash between Nottinghamshire and Sussex.
Robinson, who has been affected by a string of injuries and fitness issues of late and last played a Test for England at Hobart during the 2021/22 Ashes, only managed two county matches at the start of the season before a stint on the treatment table. The lanky quick made his return after more than two months and got the wicket of Hameed in just his second over that he bowled at Trent bridge.
The last delivery of the third over of the innings was on the off-stump line as the opener looked to leave alone. However, the ball swung in, snuck past Hameed and rattled his off-stump, the right-hander departing for five.
Robinson also picked up the wickets of Ben Duckett and Joe Clarke in his first eight overs to mark a memorable comeback to professional cricket.
