Watch: Hasan Ali uprooted the off stump to take his first County Championship wicket during Lancashire’s match against Kent.

Ali, who has signed up with the county side for their first six games of the 2022 season, had a memorable start as he clean bowled Jordan Cox with a ball that moved in to the right-hander. The batter shouldered his arms as he anticipated the ball to sail over the stumps. However, it was Hasan who was jubilant.

Kent were asked to follow-on after being shot out for 260 in their first innings, with Hasan also picking up the wicket of Darren Stevens in Kent’s first innings. Lancashire had earlier posted 506 in their first innings, with Steven Croft and Dane Vilas scoring hundreds.
