The 123rd season of the much-awaited County Championship gets underway on April 6 – here is where you can watch the county cricket matches live, along with the radio and live streaming details.

In the Championship, the 18 teams will be divided into two divisions. Essex, Hampshire, Kent, Lancashire, Middlesex, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, Somerset, Surrey, and Warwickshire will fight it out in Division One, while Division Two features Derbyshire, Durham, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Leicestershire, Sussex, Worcestershire, and Yorkshire.

The County Championship will see participation from various international cricketers around the globe who will increase the standard of the competition. International stars like Marnus Labuschagne, Cheteshwar Pujara, Steve Smith, Ajinkya Rahane, Daryl Mitchell, Matt Henry, Peter Siddle, and Arshdeep Singh will ply their trades in the County Championship this season among others.

The tournament starts tomorrow (April 6) and is scheduled to run till September 29. A total of 126 matches will be played in the tournament, including 70 in Division One, and 56 in Division Two.

County Championship: Where to watch county cricket live in 2022

Every single game will be live streamed on the match centre of ECB’s website ecb.co.uk/championship-live as well as on the England Cricket App for mobile audiences.

You can go to the match centre of your preferred game and click on the ‘video’ option to watch the matches on your mobile devices.

Every county side will live stream their respective home matches as well, either on their websites or through their social media channels.

This year, Sky Sports will be broadcasting several matches as well as stream them on their Sky Sports Cricket channel, starting with the much-anticipated season opener between Lancashire and Surrey starting April 6.

The county games will be broadcast across all local radio stations along with BBC Sport and BBC Radio Wales.

The ECB website as well as the England Cricket app will also allow the audience the option of listening to commentary during the live streaming of the matches.
