The 2022/23 edition of the Big Bash League is set to get underway on December 13, lasting into the New Year with the final scheduled for February 4, 2023 – here’s where to watch the Big Bash League 2022/23 on TV Channels and live streaming.
Eight teams will participate in the competition, which returns to its traditional mid-December starting window after two years of Covid-19 disruption. The Perth Scorchers are the reigning champions after they beat the Sydney Sixers in last year’s final to claim their fourth BBL trophy. After the round-robin stage of the competition there will be four knock out matches to decide which two teams will contest the final, with the top-five placed teams from the first round all in with a chance of making it.
There are plenty of international stars who have been drafted into the competition, including the likes of Shadab Khan and Alex Hales. Some overseas players have withdrawn from the competition due to the pressures of the international schedule, such as Liam Livingstone and Phil Salt, who withdrew from playing for the Perth Scorchers due to injury.
