Watch: Jordan Silk set the fielding standard on day one of Australia’s Big Bash League/
Jordan Silk had a fielding moment to remember in the opening match of BBL10 with an incredible superman-style save on the boundary to stop a six off Tim David.

Running to meet the ball, leaping into the air and reaching out with one arm, Silk knocked the ball back into the field to save his Sydney Sixers side four runs at Bellerive Oval, Hobart.
Such is the fielding standard these days, there’s every chance the ball could have been thrown back to a teammate to record a catch had Silk been accompanied by a fellow Sydney Sixer.

Alas, the moment of brilliance wasn’t enough to propel the Sixers to their first win of the tournament, with Hobart Hurricanes running out 12-run winners in the opening match of the competition.
