Against Ireland at Bulawayo, Blessing Muzarabani became the first Zimbabwean fast bowler to take seven wickets in a Test innings.
Ireland were in disarray after Andy Balbirnie won the toss and opted to bat at Bulawayo. By the ninth over, they had been reduced to 31-5. Muzarabani alone had claimed four of these wickets.
Andy McBrine (90 not out) led the counterattack, adding 51 with Lorcan Tucker (33) and 127 with Mark Adair (78). However, Muzarabani returned to strike thrice more and finish with 7-58, the best figures for a Zimbabwean fast bowler in Test cricket, to end the innings on 260.

- Muzarabani now has 40 wickets at 20.97 in Test cricket, and this is only his 10th match. He is already 10th on the all-time list of Zimbabwe bowlers (seventh among pacers). Another 41 wickets will make him second on the all-time list among Zimbabwean bowlers of any kind, behind only Streak (216).
