KKR have got on board another injury replacement, signing Navdeep Saini in place of Harshit Rana. 

Kulwant Khejroliya will replace Gujarat Titans' Prithviraj Yarra. 

Sri Lanka Cricket have granted a no-objection certificate to Eshan Malinga to feature in IPL 2026, as per News Wire.

SRH retained Malinga after he picked up 13 wickets in seven games last season.

KKR have signed Vidarbha pacer Saurabh Dubey as a replacement for the injured Akash Deep, Cricbuzz report.

As per Cricbuzz, Shanaka is set to replace Sam Curran, who was ruled out of the season due to a groin issue.

The Sri Lanka all-rounder was set to represent Lahore Qalandars in the upcoming PSL season, but has reportedly pulled out to play in the IPL.

LSG's Wanindu Hasaranga, KKR's Matheesha Pathirana, RCB's Nuwan Thushara, and SRH's Eshan Malinga all need to clear respective fitness tests to obtain a no-objection certificate to participate in IPL 2026.

The likes of Dushmantha Chameera, Pathum Nissanka (both DC) and SRH's Kamindu Mendis have been cleared after passing fitness tests.

KKR pacer Akash Deep has been ruled out of IPL 2026, as per Cricbuzz. The nature of the injury remains unclear.

Sam Curran is the latest addition to the ever-growing list of overseas pacers to miss all or part of IPL 2026.

As per ESPNCricinfo, Curran is nursing a groin issue, which has forced him to withdraw from the upcoming season of the T20 league.

KKR pacer Matheesha Pathirana has been declared fit and granted the necessary NOC to play in the IPL, Sri Lanka Cricket secretary Bandula Dissanayake has told PTI.

"As far as I know, he’s fit and we have given him NOC to participate in the IPL, that’s all I know at this point of time,” Dissanayake said.

Pathirana had suffered a hamstring injury during the T20 World Cup and was doubtful for at least the start of IPL 2026. However, he now seems to be fit to be joining the franchise ahead of the tournament.

Lockie Ferguson has decided to miss the early stages of the IPL for the Punjab Kings to spend time with his family. The New Zealand pacer took a short paternity leave during the T20 World Cup but returned in four days.

"Just had a wee son, trying to spend as much time as I can at home and help the wife out," Ferguson said ahead of the third T20I against South Africa (via ESPNCricinfo). "I'll have a few weeks off after this, before sort of heading to the later stages of the IPL and away for the winter.

"Always a pleasure playing for the Black Caps, really enjoyed my time in India with the group again and unfortunate the injuries played out earlier in the season. Really wanted to play some home cricket and feel just privileged to be able to play in front of the home crowd."

Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Jack Edwards will miss the entirety of IPL 2026 due to a foot injury. SRH will also be without Pat Cummins for the start of the season.

Delhi Capitals 'Mitchell Starc has joined his Australia pace-bowling partners, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins, to miss the start of IPL 2026, as per cricket.com.au.

Cricket Australia is said to be managing the minutes of their star pacers with a big Test season and the ODI World Cup coming up next year.

According to Sportstar, Chennai Super Kings' death-overs specialist Nathan Ellis has suffered a hamstring injury, which could rule him out of the upcoming season.

CSK CEO K.S. Viswanthan told Sportstar that the franchise were looking for replacements and losing Ellis has come as a "big blow" for them.

The Sri Lanka pacer picked up an injury during the T20 World Cup, but as per Cricbuzz, KKR are hoping to have him back sometime during the season and are thus not looking to sign a replacement.

As per CODE Sports, SRH's Pat Cummins and RCB's Josh Hazlewood are both set to miss the start of the IPL 2026 season. The duo's teams will face off in the tournament opener on March 28.

Hazlewood is expected to miss at least the first two matches, having last played competitive cricket in November 2025. Cummins will reportedly miss the early stages of the tournament, with no fixed timeline on the duo's return.

As per an ESPNCricinfo report, Harshit Rana is still on the road to recovery after undergoing a knee surgery. He injured his knee during the T20 World Cup 2026 warm-up match against South Africa, and is expected to miss a major chunk of the season for the Kolkata Knight Riders.

As per Cricbuzz, Rana will miss all of the season, but KKR are not looking to sign a replacement as they feel they have enough options.
