England quick Jofra Archer suffered during his first IPL appearance in two years, conceding 76 runs in the second match of IPL 2025 against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
The second match of this year's competition saw Rajasthan Royals elect to field first in Hyderabad after stand-in skipper Riyan Parag won the toss.
SRH openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head got off to a flyer, scoring 45 runs in the first three overs before the former was dismissed for 24. In the fifth over, Head went after England quick Jofra Archer, as the pacer's first IPL over in nearly two years went for 23 runs.

Archer's second, the 11th of the innings, went for 12 runs as two fours were struck, and his third went for 22 courtesy of three sixes from Ishan Kishan. After three overs, his figures were 0-57.
His final over started inauspiciously, with a beamer that escaped wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel and went for four more byes. Four more boundaries in the over (three for Heinrich Klaasen and one for Kishan) made it 19, and meant Archer had now recorded the worst-ever figures in IPL history.
