Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill has completed 1,000 IPL runs at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium during Saturday’s (March 29) IPL 2025 clash against Mumbai Indians, entering an elite batting club.
Gill reached the landmark in the fourth over of the match, completing 1,000 runs in just 20 innings at the venue - becoming the second-fastest to achieve this feat. Only Chris Gayle was quicker, having reached 1,000 runs at Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in 19 innings.
Gill became the 16th different batter to score a minimum of 1,000 runs at a single venue. The overall record belongs to Virat Kohli, who has scored 3040 at an average of 40.53 and a strike-rate of 142.58 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
It’s the time of the year when MS Dhoni trends again, and emotions veil expectations.

David Warner is the only batter to appear twice on this list. His dominant performance at Hyderabad's Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium - 1,623 runs at 64.92 (SR 160.53) - ranks him fourth overall. Meanwhile, his 1,048 runs at 32.75 (SR 127.33) at Delhi's Arun Jaitley Stadium ranks 15th.
Besides Warner, Shubman Gill became just the second batter to amass 1,000-plus runs at a single venue while maintaining a 60+ average – a feat no other batter has achieved, even at a 45+ average mark.
