Royal Challengers beat Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians beat Chennai Super Kings in Sunday’s (April 20) IPL matches - here is the updated IPL 2025 points table after the PBKS vs RCB and MI vs CSK games.
Chasing 158 against Punjab Kings, Virat Kohli anchored RCB’s innings with an unbeaten 73 off 54 balls – his fourth fifty in eight matches this season. The victory maintained RCB’s perfect away record (five wins), allowing them to bounce back from their rain-shortened home loss to PBKS just two days earlier.
In the other match, another India veteran, Rohit Sharma, starred in Mumbai Indians' chase against Chennai Super Kings. Returning to form with a 45-ball 75 studded with six sixes and four fours, he powered MI to gun down CSK's 176-5 in just 15.4 overs.
