Gujarat Titans chased down 203 vs Delhi Capitals while Lucknow Super Giants defended 180 against Rajasthan Royals in today's IPL matches - here is the updated IPL points table after the GT vs DC and RR vs LSG games.
GT pip DC in a top-of-the-table clash
Gujrat Titans defeated Delhi Capitals to continue their charge towards the playoffs. Shubhman Gill won the toss and put Delhi in to bat first. DC put a competitive total of 203 on the board. Karun Nair, Axar Patel, Stubbs and Ashutosh Sharma all made handy contributions while Prasisdh Krishna returned figures of 4-41 in 4four overs for GT.
In reply, Jos Buttler and the ever-reliable Sai Sudharsan took on the DC bowlers. Buttler even went on to smash Mitchell Starc for five consecutive fours in the 14th over, swaying the game largely towards GT. He finished unbeaten on 97 off 54, taking GT to the top of the table.

LSG hold their nerve to win last over a thriller
Lucknow Super Giants won a final-over thriller in Jaipur. After losing quick wickets while batting first, Ayush Badoni and Aiden Markram steadied the ship, adding 76 for the third wicket. Abdul Samad then smashed 30 off 10 balls, taking LSG’s total to 180.
In response, Rajasthan, who was forced to bench captain Sanju Samson due to an injury, handed a debut to the youngest player in IPL history, 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Astonishingly, Suryavanshi started his IPL career with a first-ball six off Shardul Thakur as him and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 61 runs in the first six overs. RR needed 19 off the last two overs and nine off the last, the same equation they had in their super over defeat against DC. They faltered again, this time losing by two runs as Avesh Khan held his nerve.
