PBKS beat RCB at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday (April 18). Here's what the IPL 2025 points table looks like after the match.
The rain delay forced the match to be reduced to 14 overs-a-side. Batting first, RCB tried to take the attack to the opposition, but the PBKS bowlers kept the hosts at bay, restricting them to 95-9. Of those runs, 50 came off Tim David’s bat off 26 balls. He struck five fours and three sixes ,finishing unbeaten. PBKS restricted the opposition to a low score yet again, days after defending the lowest total in the IPL against the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Despite the paltry total, RCB bowlers, especially Josh Hazlewood, who took 3-14 off three overs, made run-scoring difficult for the PBKS batters. They slipped to 53-4 after the eight over and then 81-5 in 11.3 overs. But Nehal Wadhera’s calm 19-ball 33 not out took them home with five wickets and 11 balls remaining.
