MI beat SRH at the Wankhede Stadium in a tight game between two sides in desperate need of a positive result. Here's what the points table looks like after the match.
Mumbai skipper Hardik Pandya asked Sunrisers to bat first, with the possibility of dew setting in later on in the evening. SRH openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head were subdued well in the Powerplay, but still put on 59 for the first wicket.
MI spinners Will Jacks and Mitchell Santner put the squeeze on in the middle overs, and the SRH middle-order just couldn't get going. Towards the end though, they managed two 20-plus run overs in the final three, to make it to a competitive 162-5.
In reply, MI opener Rohit Sharma laced three sixes on his way to a 16-ball 26, and a 55-run Powerplay put them firmly in control of the game. There were contributions right the way through for them, as the entire top six made it to double figures, and they got over the line in 18.1 overs.
