KKR beat CSK by eight wickets in Chennai to hand the hosts their fifth loss in a row this season. Here's what the points table looks like.
Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and chose to put the hosts in to bat. His decision was vindicated within 4.1 overs as CSK openers Devon Conway and Rachin Ravindra were back in the hut by then.
Rahul Tripathi and Vijay Shankar put on 43 for the third wicket, but that was as good as it got for CSK. Shankar was dismissed for 29 and Tripathi for 16, and CSK soon slipped to 75-8 and 79-9. A couple of boundaries at the end from Shivam Dube helped push the socre up to 103-9, still severely under par.
KKR openers Sunil Narine and Quinton de Kock as good as finished the game in the Powerplay, scoring 71-1. It was only a matter of time before they crossed the finish line, doing so in 10.1 overs to hand CSK their biggest-ever IPL defeat (in terms of balls remaining).
