The final shortlist of players available for the upcoming IPL auction was released on Friday (November 15). Here's the full list of players who will go under the hammer.
A total of 1,574 players had put their names forward for the auction, with the longlist confirmed on November 5. That list has now been whittled down to 574 players. There are 366 Indians and 208 overseas players.
Three players from Associate nations are part of the auction this time around – Unmukt Chand, Ali Khan (both USA) and Brandon McMullen (Scotland). Twelve uncapped foreigners are also in the shortlist – Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Leus du Plooy, Michael Pepper, Benny Howell (all England), Josh Brown, Ollie Davies (both Australia), Bevan John Jacobs (New Zealand), Faridoon Dawoodzai (Afghanistan), Corbin Bosch, Duan Jansen (both South Africa), Eshan Malinga and Dumindu Sewmina (both Sri Lanka).

As always, several young stars of Indian domestic cricket have also entered the auction – R Smaran, C Andre Siddharth, Shashwat Rawat, Gurjapneet Singh, Priyansh Arya and Ayush Mhatre are a few who will be looking to secure their first contract.
Taking each team's squad list into account, there are a total of 204 slots that can be filled, with a maximum of 70 to be taken by overseas players. The likes of Jos Buttler, Rishabh Pant, Mitchell Starc, Arshdeep Singh, KL Rahul and Mohammed Shami are among the marquee players in the auction.
This year, the auction will take place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25. It will be the second year in a row that the auction takes place outside India, as last year's was held in Dubai.
