The auction for the 2025 edition of the Indian Premier League will take place in Jeddah on Sunday, November 24. Here is the full list of commentators and presenters for the coverage of the auction.
A host of marquee names will bring the coverage of the auction to life, including well-known broadcasters and former professional cricketers. One of the most prominent names on the list is former England captain Eoin Morgan. Morgan played in several editions of the IPL, representing Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, and Kings XI Punjab. He will be part of the coverage in English on JioCinema in India.
Suresh Raina is another notable name on the roster. Raina spent 12 seasons on Chennai Super Kings' books, winning four titles with the side. He will lineup along several former India international players on the commentary panel, including Robin Uthappa, Aakash Chopra as well as Hanuma Vihari.
The auction will begin at 12:30pm local time in Saudi Arabia, the second consecutive auction which has been held outside of India. There are 574 players up for grabs during the course of the auction - 366 Indian players and 208 overseas players. Among the most high profile names set to go under the hammer are Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer, Jos Buttler, Mitchell Starc and Liam Livingstone.

There are 204 slots up for grabs for those players to compete for, with Punjab Kings currently the side with the most spots up for grabs in their squad. Royal Challengers Bengaluru also have a fair few spots up for grabs, while Rajasthan Royals have the most spots confirmed going into the auction.
