With 16 players already in the bag, Gujarat Titans are the closest to making up their squad of a minimum of 18 players.

A busy day for Mumbai Indians
Akash Ambani feels that MI has their "Playing XII" locked and loaded with quality. They would be looking at quality back-ups and a couple of lower middle-order power-hitters, maybe Tim David could head back to Mumbai.
Purse Left: RCB Still In the Lead
Despite paying the most for a player on Day 2 of the IPL 2025 Auction, RCB still has the most amount of money left in their purse, a bit more than 14 Crores.
They only have 11 players in the bag and would still be looking for a finisher who could contribute a couple of overs as well with the ball in hand.
Local talent from Karnataka could also be blooded into the side in the accelerated round later on...

Akash Deep: Sold to LSG for 8 Crores
A base price of 1 Crore proved to be useful for Akash Deep who got repeated bids from CSK and LSG up to 3.4 Crores.
After CSK withdrew, PBKS went in one more time in search of a seamer who has the ability to take the new ball.
LSG's bid of 8 Crores proved to be too tall for the Kings who were looking for an Indian seamer but went empty-handed from the set despite being the busiest side in Set 16.
Deepak Chahar: Sold to MI for 9.25 Crores
MI submit the first bid for Deepak Chahar and PBKS are involved yet again as they submit their first bid as well.
Like the previous two bidding wars, the two sides went hard till 6 Crores before PBKS bowed out of the deal when they were asked to challenge with a bid of 8 Crores.
MI seemed to have sealed the deal for 7.75 Crores with no other side interested in the seamer's services but CSK stepped in taking the price beyond 9 Crores with another bidding war.
MI finally sealed the deal at 9.25 Crores for Deepak Chahar.
Mukesh Kumar heads back to DC for 8 Crores (RTM)
A regular in India's white-ball set-up, Mukesh Kumar attracts bids from CSK and PBKS as the duo escalate the price beyond 6 Crores.
The bidding war continued till 6.5 Crores as PBKS seemed to have sealed the deal before DC exercised their RTM option.
The Kings raised the price to 8 Crores and DC pondered a bit before matching the price.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar: Sold to RCB for 10.75 Crores
An IPL legend has entered the fray and the duo of MI and LSG are having a go at it with the price already escalated beyond 10 Crores in a jiffy.

Gerald Coetzee: Sold to GT for 2.4 Crores
After struggling in IPL 2024, Gerald Coetzee has found admirers in Gujarat Titans and Punjab Kings.

Tushar Deshpande: Sold to RR for 6.5 Crores
CSK and RR want Tushar Deshpande's services and the price has gone beyond 6 Crores after starting at a base price of 1 Crore.

KS Bharat UNSOLD!!
KS Bharat is passed up by all teams.
Ryan Rickelton: Sold to MI for 1 Crore
Ryan Rickelton's exploits in the SA20 have prompted MI to have a go at him in the IPL as well. They get their target at base price.
Shai Hope UNSOLD!!
West Indies skipper in the ODI format, Shai Hope remains unsold.
Set 15: Capped Wicket-keepers
Some useful wicket-keeping options coming up for the teams to have a look at...
Nitish Rana: Sold to RR for 4.2 Crores
Former KKR skipper Nitish Rana gets a bid from CSK straightaway and Venky Mysore doesn't seem interested as RR enters the fray to challenge the Super Kings.
Rana is a useful left-handed batting option and RCB is pondering over signing the player. The Royal Challengers do submit their bid ensuing another bidding war which they won at 3.2 Crores but RR steps back in at 3.4 Crores and drive the price up to 4.2 Crores to attain their target.
Krunal Pandya: Sold to RCB for 5.75 Crores
Krunal Pandya attracted interest from RCB, and the Royal Challengers were challenged by RR, but the Bengaluru-based franchise remained adamant and bagged their target at a price of 5.75 Crores.
Daryl Mitchell UNSOLD!!
Another Kiwi batter remains unsold as Daryl Mitchell's name couldn't impress any of the teams present in the room.
Marco Jansen: Sold to Punjab Kings for 7 Crores
MI and PBKS have decided to go for Marco Jansen, and the price has been escalated to 2.6 Crores before MI withdraws allowing the Titans to step in and make their pace attack even stronger.
A bidding war ensued between the two sides before the Kings landed their desired target at 7 Crores.
Sam Curran: Sold to CSK for 2.4 Crores
One of the highest-paid players in IPL history, Sam Curran attracted a bid from one of his former teams, CSK.
LSG wanted to go for the English all-rounder as well but didn't even submit a second bid as CSK is in the driving seat.
The Super Kings bagged the player at 2.4 Crores before PBKS decided not to exercise their RTM option.
Sundar: Sold to Gujarat Titans for 3.2 Crores
Sundar will be partnering Rashid Khan as he is sold to Gujarat Titans for 3.2 Crores.
