The latest IPL mega auction is taking place in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on November 24 and 25 at the Abady Al-Johar Arena. The 10 sides will look to fill the 204 slots between them from the 577 players shortlisted. Among the 204 vacancies, 70 are available for overseas players. Each team can include a maximum of 25 and a minimum of 18 players.

IPL 2025: Who are the players in the INR 2 Crore bracket?
After 46 players were retained across the sides until the October 31 deadline, Punjab Kings have the highest purse of INR 110.5 crore, while Rajasthan Royals have the least amount of money (INR 41 crore). It seems like an eternity ago now that Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant broke the IPL record for the highest-paid player in the league.
A total of 84 players went under the hammer and 72 players were sold as several teams have started to shape up and will continue to do so tomorrow, with an accelerated round of auction also scheduled in the latter half of Monday.

Karn Sharma can spin the ball a long way and hit the ball a long way as well and MI decided to invest in his talent with a solitary bid of 50 Lacs.

A mini bidding war between DC and RCB ended up with the Royal Challengers having another bidding war with MI and Mo Bobat's men finally landed the signature they wanted at a price of 2.6 Crores.

Former CSK bowler Simarjeet Singh ignited a bidding war between CSK and SRH and the Sunrisers remained adamant on landing the left-arm fast bowler at a price of 1.5 Crores.

Speedster Kartik Tyagi couldn't attract any bids across the board as he remained unsold.
Yash Thakur: Sold to PBKS for 1.6 Crores
PBKS and GT went at it in a battle for Yash Thakur, with the Kings coming out on top at 1.6 Crores.
Vaibhav Arora heads back to KKR for 1.8 Crores
KKR went for another one of their former players but were challenged by RR up till 1.6 Crores and the Knight Riders were reunited with another former player.
DC then entered the fray at 1.7 Crores with KKR eventually bagging their desired player for 1.8 Crores.
Vijaykumar Vyshak: Sold to Punjab Kings for 1.8 Crores
SRH, GT, and PBKS were all interested in the Bengaluru-born bowler and Preity Zinta's contingent finally managed to snap him up for 1.8 Crores.
RCB decided not to exercise the RTM option yet again as Vyshak heads to Punjab Kings.
Mohit Sharma: Sold to DC for 2.2 Crores
A base price of 50 Lacs was enticing enough for GT and DC to go hammer and tongs for the experienced Mohit Sharma and the Capitals came out on top in the battle of the former GT player.
Akash Madhwal: Sold to RR for 1.2 Crores
RR bid first for former MI bowler Akash Madhwal and PBKS decided to challenge them as they are looking for someone to partner Arshdeep Singh in the death overs.
But the Royals outbid PBKS at 1.2 Crores and bagged the fast bowler's signature.
Rasikh Dar: Sold to RCB for 6 Crores
Jammu & Kashmir fast bowler Rasikh Dar proved his credentials with DC in IPL 2024 and ignited a bidding war between RCB and SRH as both teams wanted to land the 24-year old's signature.
The Royal Challengers outbid Kavya Maran & co. to bag Rasikh Dar at 2 Crores before DC decided to exercise the RTM option.
RCB then raised the bid to 6 Crores and the Capitals couldn't match the amount after it was tripled by Mo Bobat's men.

MI then went in for the experienced Kerala wicket-keeper batter but PBKS eventually bagged their target for 95 Lacs.

Former RCB wicket-keeper batter Anuj Rawat attracted a solitary bid from GT.
Robin Minz: Sold to MI for 65 Lacs
CSK once again were the first to bid and MI came in straightaway for Robin Minz who couldn't make his IPL debut last year after going for huge money. Minz was sold to MI for 65 Lacs.
Kumar Kushagra: Sold to GT for 65 Lacs
CSK, definitely in pursuit of another wicket-keeping option, went straight in for Kumar Kushagra but were rivalled by PBKS, with GT entering late for the wicket-keeper batter and bagging him for 65 Lacs.

Ashutosh Sharma: Sold to DC for 3.8 Crores
Ashutosh Sharma gained a reputation for accumulating runs at a brisk pace for PBKS during IPL 2024. RCB identified that and went in straightaway for the former PBKS player but were challenged by RR who gave up the pursuit at 90 Lacs.
DC was the next in line to enter the bidding war with RCB and managed to outbid them, but former team PBKS were still interested and took the price to 3.8 Crores at which DC landed the Railways batter's signature.
Mahipal Lomror: Sold to GT for 1.7 Crores
Mahipal Lomror attracted bids straightaway from Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans, with both franchises going hard for the southpaw.
GT eventually landed Lomror's signature after outbidding RR at a price of 1.7 Crores.
Vijay Shankar: Sold to CSK for 1.2 Crores
Vijay Shankar attracted bids from CSK and GT and the all-rounder would have been delighted to watch that battle as he is well accustomed to the home grounds of both teams.
The Super Kings managed to bag the local player eventually at a price of 1.2 Crores.
Harpreet Brar: Sold to PBKS for 1.5 Crores
Former PBKS utility player attracted a bidding war between LSG and PBKS yet again with PBKS coming out on top this time around.
The Kings managed to sign the Moga-born player for 1.5 Crores after a couple of late bids from MI.
Abdul Samad: Sold to LSG for 4.2 Crores
Jammu & Kashmir power-hitter Abdul Samad attracted interest from RCB and LSG with PBKS later replacing RCB in the position of bidding with LSG for the former SRH player.
The Super Giants managed to snap up Abdul Samad for 4.2 Crores before SRH decided not to exercise their RTM option, thus leading the J&K player to LSG.
Naman Dhir: Sold to MI for 5.25 Crores (RTM)
Former MI all-rounder straightaway attracted a bid from his former side and RCB joined MI in pursuit of the Ambala-born all-rounder.
MI could have sealed the deal at 2 Crores after four bids from DC went in vain but RR was interested in Dhir as well sparking yet another mini bidding war as Dhir's bidding stopped at 3.4 Crores.
MI then exercised their RTM options, forcing RR to up their bid to 5.25 Crores, which was accepted by MI, who welcome back one of their former players.
Sameer Rizvi: Sold to DC for 95 Lacs
Former CSK starlet Sameer Rizvi attracted a bid from his former side straightaway and DC joined the bidding initiating a mini bidding war for the UP batter eventually signing him for 95 Lacs.
Nishant Sindhu: Sold to GT at Base Price
Former India U-19 all-rounder Nishant Sindhu attracted a bid from GT for 30 Lacs, and the Rohtak-born player joined the 2022 IPL Champions.

Abhinav Manohar: Sold to SRH for 3.2 Crores
Former GT batter Abhinav Manohar attracted a bid from RCB for 30 Lacs, and the Royal Challengers were outbid by CSK, who were then ensued in a battle with GT up to 2.2 Crores before SRH entered the fray at 2.4 Crores.
The Sunrisers eventually bagged the Karnataka batter at a price of 2.8 Crores as the hammer came down signifying a deal.
Later, the auctioneer claimed that KKR had their paddle up before the hammer went down, re-opening the bidding for the 30-year old uncapped batter. SRH eventually bagged him for 3.2 Crores.

Delhi batter Yash Dhull enters the fray with a base price of 30 Lacs but remains unsold.
Karun Nair: Sold to DC for 50 Lacs
DC and RCB go hard for the triple centurion at the Test level as Karun Nair's price was driven up to 50 Lacs before the Capitals signed the batter.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi: Sold to KKR for 3 Crores
KKR go straight in for their former player and CSK joins them in a bidding war, smoothly taking up the price to 3 Crores as the Knight Riders were able to sign another player from their IPL 2024 winning team.
Nehal Wadhera: Sold to Punjab Kings for 4.2 Crores
Nehal Wadhera is expected to be in huge demand as CSK and LSG go hard for the Punjab batter. After LSG bows out, PBKS enters the fray for the local batter forcing CSK to withdraw at 2.6 Crores.
GT joins the bidding process at 2.8 Crores and escalates the price to 4 Crores after a bidding war with PBKS, who eventually managed to get Wadhera at 4.2 Crores with MI not exercising their RTM option.
