Kolkata Knight Riders will host Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Eden Gardens in Match 15 of IPL 2025 - here are Betfair Sportsbook's odds for the KKR vs SRH match.
Both SRH and KKR are coming into the match on the back of heavy defeats. Both finalists of last season, KKR and SRH currently occupy two of the bottom three spots in the points table. Head-to-head, KKR hold the edge over SRH. Last year, they beat them in each of the three outings including the final and have won 19 out of 28 matches between the sides.
KKR vs SRH: Who will win?
SRH racked up the second-highest IPL total in their first match of the season but have done little of note since. In pursuit of the elusive 300-mark, they have been limited to 190 and 163 in their second and third games, which they lost with 23 and 24 balls remaining respectively.
However, if SRH have been poor in their last two games, KKR have been arguably been worse. They lost the season opener against RCB by seven wickets with 22 balls remaining and then collapsed big time against MI in their third match in Mumbai, getting bowled out for 116 and losing within 13 overs.
Despite it being a home match for KKR, where they have a 7-3 record over SRH, Betway's odds of 8/11 suggest SRH are the favourites, while KKR sit at 11/10.
KKR vs SRH: Which batters can go big?
Eden Gardens has been a high-scoring venue in recent years. After the first match of IPL 2025, controversy was stirred between the KKR management and the pitch curator as the team felt pitches weren't being prepared to their liking. Even if the pitch turns on Thursday, the SRH top-order will still be a massive threat. Betway places Travis Head as the favourite to be the top-scorer in the game with odds of 5/1 while Abhishek Sharma is close behind with odds of 13/2.
Among KKR batters, Quinton de Kock, who scored an unbeaten 97 against Rajasthan Royals two games back, has odds of 6/1 according to Betway to be their top-scoring batter in the game.
