GT vs DC: IPL 2023 team news
Gujarat are comfortably sitting atop the points table with 12 points from eight games. Their chasing prowess was on display again at the Eden Gardens in their last game. With a settled lineup that is gelling well, there doesn’t seem to be any need for changes.
Sai Sudharshan has been unlucky to miss out from the XI in the last few games. He scored a half-century the last time these two sides met, but with the current form of Vijay Shankar and Abhinav Manohar, it’s unlikely that he’ll get in the side. There’s an outside chance that Gujarat might consider replacing a struggling Wriddhiman Saha with KS Bharat at the top.
Delhi have a lot of issues to work on. Most importantly, their leader, David Warner, has not been able to dominate like he usually does in the IPL. Phil Salt and Mitchell Marsh registered half-centuries in the last game. With them firing, all Delhi need from Warner is to stick around like he did in the first half of the season. A promotion to the in-form Axar Patel could also do wonders for their struggling middle order.

GT v DC: IPL prediction for today’s match 44
Gujarat are at the top of the table while Delhi are the bottom. This is not supposed to be an even contest with both teams at opposite ends of the spectrum in terms of position at the table, confidence, and momentum. Gujarat start as firm favourites, however, an improved show with the bat by skipper Warner can make it tougher for them.
