DC vs GT: Team news for today’s IPL 2023 match
Delhi Capitals missed Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi in their first match against the Lucknow Super Giants, where they ended up conceding 193 on a pitch that offered some help for the bowlers. Nortje and Ngidi have now joined the squad. Whether they will play straightaway, however, remains to be seen.
Gujarat Titans suffered a major blow in their very first match of the season when Kane Williamson injured his knee while attempting a catch on the boundary. He has been ruled out of the tournament and has returned to New Zealand for recovery.
On a brighter note, David Miller has joined their squad and is available to play. However, like his South African teammates from the opposite camp tonight, his participation in tonight’s match might be uncertain given he has just arrived.

DC vs GT: Prediction for match 7 of IPL 2023
Gujarat Titans are coming off a comprehensive victory in their opening game of the season, while Delhi Capitals are coming off a 50-run defeat. While Nortje might be back for the hosts tonight, it will create a selection headache for them, for they have to leave out one of their four overseas batters. Whoever it is, it will render their batting weaker.
Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, can make a straight swap between Williamson and Miller without disturbing the balance of the side. It may be the first home game for the Capitals, but the Titans will start as the slight favourites.
