Mumbai Indians will begin their IPL 2023 campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore on April 2. Here is the complete MI schedule 2023, including match timings and venues.
MI endured a substandard season in 2022, finishing last and missing out on the playoffs. They have now failed to finish in the top four in two consecutive editions and would be hoping to break that streak this time out. Rohit Sharma is slated to lead the side, with the likes of Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav also expected to play crucial roles. Youngsters such as Dewald Brevis, N Tilak Varma and Tristan Stubbs would also be hoping to make a mark.
There are injury clouds over Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer. However, if both of them are fit to play, MI will have a strong bowling attack on their hands. MI’s first game sees them travel to the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Their first home match is against arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium on April 8.
