MS Dhoni’s Chennai will be looking for their third win on the bounce when they host Rajasthan Royals tonight (April 12). CSK had lost their opener, against defending champions Gujarat Titans, but went on to beat Lucknow Super Giants by 12 runs and Mumbai Indians by seven wickets.
Rajasthan, on the other hand, started off with a win against Sunrisers Hyderabad, before Punjab Kings defeated them by five wickets. RR, though, boosted their net run rate with a 57-run victory against Delhi Capitals in their last game.
RR are currently second on the points table, with an NRR of +2.067, the best among all sides in the competition, while CSK are fifth.
