GT v CSK: IPL 2023 team news
GT had not only topped the points table at the league stage, but finished three points clear of any other side. However, second-placed CSK did beat them in Qualifier 1 at Chepauk to get direct entry to the final, while GT had to beat the Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2.
Chennai’s win against Gujarat was their first in four attempts. They also met in the season opener, a match Gujarat won with four balls to spare on their home turf in Motera.
Gujarat may back Sai Sudharsan and Josh Little ahead of Dasun Shanaka and Darshan Nalkande again. Chennai, too, are likely to retain their XI, as they often do.
However, if it rains again, and the match begins on a wet outfield, both sides may be tempted to go in with the extra seamer.

GT v CSK: Today’s IPL 2023 match prediction for final
Gujarat will have the advantage of playing at home, on a surface that has typically assisted strokemaking. Chennai, too, bat deep, and boast of an array of hitters, but Gujarat’s better-rounded bowling attack probably gives them an edge on this surface.
