Jadeja, on 26 off 21 balls at the start of the 20th over, smashed sixes off the first three deliveries, with the last of them a no-ball. Off the free hit, the CSK all-rounder plundered another six to make 25 off the first three legal deliveries.
Off the fourth ball, he was let off at extra cover, but managed to retain the strike after running two. He finished the over with a six and a four to slam 37 runs in six deliveries, finishing on 62* off just 28 balls!
Chris Gayle had smashed Prasanth Parameswaran for 37 runs in one over in IPL 2011. The blitzkrieg from Jadeja makes this the joint-most expensive over in IPL history.
