Bishnoi was manning the midwicket fence when Sunil Narine made room and pulled an Arshdeep Singh delivery towards him. The ball sailed in the air, but didn’t travel as far as Narine would have wanted, losing steam as it reached the boundary ropes. By that time, Bishnoi had set off from his spot, covering incredible ground as he zeroed in on the approaching ball.

“Probably going to fall between two (fielders)…no!”, cried Harsha Bhogle on air, as Bishnoi, with both hands extended, dived full length to complete a spectacular catch. He sprung back up on his feet to celebrate the dismissal, running back with glee before his teammates could catch him.

Here’s the complete IPL 2021 schedule, along with TV and live streaming details.

Bishnoi, who was part of the Indian team in the 2020 U19 World Cup, is in his second season with the Punjab franchise.

Have a look at the effort – probably one of the best you have ever seen.
