Watch: Andre Russell put together a stunning cameo with the ball against Mumbai Indians in the IPL, taking a five-for in the space of just two overs.

Kolkata Knight Riders’ Russell entered the attack with Mumbai 125-5 and 17 overs into the first innings of the match, but he still had enough time to make an impact. With the second ball of his first over he removed his international colleague Kieron Pollard, and Marco Jansen fell just two deliveries later.

Entrusted with the last over of the innings, Russell bounced back from two consecutive boundaries from Krunal Pandya to remove the India all-rounder and then Jasprit Bumrah from the next ball. A hat-trick wasn’t to come, but Russell still managed to claim a five-wicket haul from the final ball of the innings.
