Sky Sports have been criticised by a number of their customers after their post-match coverage of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) victory over Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) overran, preventing subscribers from watching the opening stages of Sunday’s second fixture between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Punjab Kings (PBKS).
Sky‘s dedicated cricket channel Sky Sports Cricket continued to broadcast coverage of RCB’s post-match interviews with Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers despite the second match already having started.
It wasn’t until the game’s third over – 11 minutes after the scheduled start – that Sky began showing the Delhi-Punjab contest. A number of Sky subscribers voiced their discontent over the mishap online.
According to Sky‘s website, a package that includes Sky Sports Cricket costs £44 a month.
Big fan of @SkyCricket, but they had a shocker there, missing 13 balls for press conferences and ads.
