After a six-month break, the Indian Premier League is back with its 14th edition, set to be held across six venues in India – Chennai, Ahmedabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata.
The playoff leg of the tournament will take place entirely in Ahmedabad. Each team will play their league matches in four of these six venues, with no team scheduled to play any fixtures in what would usually be their home ground.
The evening games will continue to start at 7.30pm IST (2pm GMT), just like in IPL 2020, rather than the 8pm IST start that was the norm before. The afternoon matches will begin at 3.30pm IST (10am GMT). The first afternoon match will be played on April 18.
