SRH KKR Dream11 Fantasy tips
- David Warner has been in prime touch throughout his stint with Sunrisers Hyderabad and has crossed the 500-run mark every season since 2014. Last year, he probably wasn’t as prolific as the previous years, but continues to be SRH’s batting rock. He walks into IPL in fairly decent nick, having hit a List A ton for NSW last month, and is a solid option for captaincy.
- Shubman Gill, Manish Pandey, Kane Williamson and Nitish Rana are other options in the batting, who could be in for a good day based on the nature of the Chepauk track.
- For wicketkeeping, Jonny Bairstow is a better choice since he’s got a higher chance of making a bigger impact as opener, given that Dinesh Karthik, the other option, bats lower.
- Rashid Khan is a sure-shot pick, given his dual role of prising out middle-order wickets while keeping the economy rate in check.
- Andre Russell had a below-par season last year, but could be more than handy at Chepauk, where cutters were in play in the opening game. In his last two games at the venue, he’s scored 50* and 88*, the last off just 36 balls in 2018.
- Bhuvneshwar Kumar, returning from injury, could be vital in keeping the KKR batting in check, who struggled to get going in the powerplays in IPL 2020.
