The remainder of IPL 2021 will be completed in the UAE after the initial schedule had to revised, following Covid-19 cases – here’s a list of the IPL 2021 squads for each Indian Premier League side so far.

With the tournament being shifted out of India, and the window tightly preceding the T20 World Cup, certain players have pulled out of the competition, leaving the sides to call in replacements.

Here’s the complete list of changes to IPL 2021 squads:

IPL 2021 Squads

Chennai Super Kings

No changes yet.

Delhi Capitals

In: Ben Dwarshius

Out: Chris Woakes

Chris Woakes has pulled out of the IPL due to a hectic schedule that might see him on the road for four months, starting with the T20 World Cup and the Ashes Down Under. The father of young children, Woakes, thus decided to skip the mega-event. Australia’s Ben Dwarshius has been named as a replacement.

Kolkata Knight Riders

In: Tim Southee

Out: Pat Cummins

Pat Cummins, the most expensive buy of the previous auction, opted out of the remainder of the season, opening up one overseas slot for KKR. In his absence, Southee, the third-highest wicket-taker in T20Is, makes his way in, having last represented Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Mumbai Indians

No changes yet.

Punjab Kings

In: Nathan Ellis, Adil Rashid, Aiden Markram

Out: Jhye Richardson, Riley Meredith, Dawid Malan

Punjab Kings made a couple of changes to their bowling attack, roping in Nathan Ellis and Adil Rashid for their maiden IPL stints to replace Jhye Richardson and Riley Meredith. Malan has pulled out as well, and is replaced by South Africa’s Markram.

Rajasthan Royals

In: Oshane Thomas, Evin Lewis, Tabraiz Shamsi, Glenn Phillips

Out: Jos Buttler, Ben Stokes, Jofra Archer, Andrew Tye

Rajasthan Royals’ overseas contingent looks a tad depleted with the departure of Ben Stokes and Jos Buttler, who would not be taking part for the remainder of IPL 2021. In their absence, RR have roped in the West Indies combination of Evin Lewis and Oshane Thomas.

Earlier, the side brought in the world’s No.1 ranked T20I bowler, Tabraiz Shamsi, as well as Glenn Phillips, to replace Andrew Tye and Jofra Archer.

Royal Challengers Bangalore

In: Wanindu Hasaranga, Tim David, Dushmanta Chameera, George Garton, and Akash Deep

Out: Adam Zampa, Finn Allen, Daniel Sams, Kane Richardson, and Washington Sundar

RCB had to make wholesale changes to their squad after a spate of unavailabilities. Among domestic players, Washington Sundar is a notable absentee, having suffered a finger injury in the lead up to the tournament. They changed their overseas combination considerably, bringing in the Sri Lanka duo of Wanindu Hasaranga and Dushmanta Chameera, exciting T20 prospects Tim David and George Garton, while roping in Akash Deep as Sundar’s replacement.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

In: Sherfane Rutherford

Out: Jonny Bairstow

The English wicketkeeper is the latest player from the country to pull out due to a hectic schedule and living in a bio-bubble for long periods. Rutherford, who last played in the event in 2019, replaces him.
