Delhi Capitals will take on Punjab Kings in the 11th match of IPL 2021 – here are some Dream11 fantasy tips for the DC v PBKS clash.
In the second game of the first double-header matchday of IPL 2021, Delhi Capitals, one of the finalists last year, will take on Punjab, who suffered a remarkable collapse in their previous match against CSK. PBKS will be looking to bounce back from the rather disappointing showing with the bat, while Delhi themselves will aim to better their own sub-par batting performance in their last encounter that saw them lose by three wickets.
Head to head record
Overall: DC 11 – 15 PBKS
Since 2018: DC 2 – 4 PBKS
Here’s the complete IPL 2021 schedule, along with TV and live streaming details.
DC v PBKS Dream11 fantasy tips
- Ravichandran Ashwin, who didn’t bowl his quota of four overs in the previous game, and is yet to hit his stride in this tournament, but could come out on top against the PBKS middle order, specifically Nicholas Pooran and Chris Gayle.
- In Shreyas Iyer’s absence, the in-form duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw have stood up, with Rishabh Pant going up one slot in the middle order. On his home ground, Shaw scored 71 just two games ago.
- Run out by R Jadeja in the previous clash, KL Rahul is still a dependable pick given his consistency over the last few years. His record in Wankhede is also impressive.
- Among all-rounders, Chris Woakes is a smart pick, and has been employing the slower balls really well on sluggish surfaces.
- If Anrich Nortje is available, he can be slotted in as one of the bowlers, given the kind of pace he can generate even on slow tracks. Kagiso Rabada, too, is a sure-shot entry if available.
