Two teams with contrasting fortunes in the tournament so far will begin their Delhi leg. After a loss in their opening match, CSK have been on a roll, posting four consecutive wins, while SRH have managed just one win in five matches. CSK cruised past RCB to displace them at the No.1 spot in their previous game, while SRH endured a loss via in the Super Over after their tied game against DC.
Head to head record
Overall: CSK 11 – 4 SRH
Since 2019: CSK 2 – 2 SRH

CSK SRH Dream11 fantasy tips
- Among wicketkeepers, Jonny Bairstow comfortably edges out MS Dhoni – while the latter is still a force behind the stumps, his sub-par batting performances are unlikely to change, especially given that he bats low down the order. In his place, you can draft in an extra batsman.
- Faf du Plessis and David Warner are safe picks – while they might not set the match alight with their strike rate, but can be expected to fire more often than not. However, du Plessis is due for a failure, and could be susceptible to an early failure if SRH bring in spin quickly – the shift in venues might work to the Sunrisers’ advantage.
- Ravindra Jadeja is a must-have (as proved by his last game) – on the Delhi pitch, his left-arm spin can be vital to CSK’s fortunes, and he can strike at a rapid rate down the order with the bat. As always, he’s likely to affect at least one dismissal on the field as well.
- Sam Curran might land you points, but he can also be a tad expensive; among bowlers, Deepak Chahar is a sure-shot pick due to his success in the powerplay, so is Rashid Khan, who can put the brakes in the middle overs.
- Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Moeen Ali are decent picks as well, but their selection depends on their availability – both missed their previous game.
- Among SRH bowlers, Abhishek Sharma doesn’t bowl much (and bats pretty low) and Khaleel Ahmed is generally pretty expensive. Vijay Shankar is a decent option who usually picks up a wicket in the middle overs while being economical.
