Two of the best fast bowlers in world cricket, Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer, went head to head in the IPL 2020 as Rajasthan Royals faced Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi on Sunday.
The encounter had everything you’d expect from a complete T20 match, and Archer added a little something more; he gave us a crossover we never really expected to see. The RR quick was picked by the cameras imitating Bumrah’s action unique bowling action, all while wearing a cheeky smile. We think he did quite a good job of it.
What do you make of Archer’s impression of Bumrah? 😆#IPL2020 | #RRvsMI pic.twitter.com/2ky7BzEDS5

Below, you can watch the video, and decide for yourself if the England fast bowler’s imitation of Bumrah was a good one or not.
As far as the match was concerned, Archer’s side came out victorious courtesy a 60-ball-107* from his England teammate Ben Stokes, who roared back to form when all seemed lost for RR. Riding on Hardik Pandya’s explosive 60* off 21, MI had posted a daunting 195, but Stokes’ century helped RR coast to a much-needed win with 10 balls to spare.
Archer was the pick of the RR bowlers, taking two wickets while conceding just 31 in four overs. Bumrah, who had been among the wickets in his last two outings, went had a rather more difficult outing, going wicketless and conceding 38 runs.
