After a delay of nearly half a year, IPL 2020 will get underway in the UAE from September 19, when Chennai Super Kings take on defending champions Mumbai Indians in the opener.

All eight teams – Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab being the others – arrived at their final squads during the IPL Auction in December 2019.

However, owing to these unprecedented circumstances, many IPL 2020 teams have had to make tweaks to their squads, with CSK, in particular, looking to replace two experienced veterans, after Harbhajan Singh and Suresh Raina opted out of the tournament.
