Star TV UK have confirmed that they will show the 2019 IPL on UK TV.
The news comes on the same day that Sky confirmed that they will not be showing the competition on Sky Sports despite agreeing to a ‘multi-year’ deal in 2018.
In a tweet, Star TV UK said: “It’s official! Now you can watch VIVO IPL 2019 live on Star Gold (Sky 729 & Virgin Media 801).”

Sky customers will still be able to watch the competition on TV although not on their dedicated cricket channel. Cricket fans can also watch the tournament via the Hotstar streaming service which costs £11.99 a month.
