BT Sport have confirmed that they will broadcast every game of this year’s IPL, one day before the start of the tournament.

Last year, Sky Sports announced a “multi-year” deal to show the tournament but this week revealed that they would not be screening the competition in 2019. Sky later claimed on Twitter that although they had announced a multi-year deal in 2018, they had never stipulated that the deal covered multiple consecutive years.

Earlier this week, Hotstar confirmed that they were in possession of the digital streaming rights in the UK before Star TV UK announced that they would broadcast the tournament on Star Gold to UK audiences.

Wisden.com contacted Star TV UK, who confirmed that they will still be showing the tournament.
