India's first Test against New Zealand in Bengaluru faces a rain threat - here's the latest weather forecast for day one of the first IND v NZ Test, starting on Wednesday (October 16).
India's three-Test home series against New Zealand starts on Wednesday with the first Test at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. India are coming on the back off a convincing 2-0 victory against Bangladesh, while New Zealand head into the series with contrasting form, having lost 0-2 in Sri Lanka last month.
India are set to play a full-strength side, while New Zealand will miss the services of Kane Williamson for the first Test due to an injury. The series will mark the end of the home Test season for India and the end of an Asian Test tour for New Zealand where they have already played Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. The start of the series, however, has been affected by rain.
