The second Test between India and New Zealand is set to get underway in Pune on October 24. Here is the IND vs NZ weather forecast for day one of the match.
In the first match of the series, New Zealand registered their first Test victory in India for 36 years, winning by eight wickets in Bengaluru after they bowled India out for 46 in the first innings.
That match was repeatedly interrupted by rain, and the entire first day was lost due to a continuous downpour in the city. India's previous Test match in Kanpur had also lost a large chunk of time due to inclement weather, which forced an extraordinary Test match on the last couple of days. As well as this New Zealand had a Test against Afghanistan washed out last month in Greater Noida.
Given how the rain seems to have followed these teams around, it's worth looking at the chances of rain for the second Test, which begins on Thursday, October 24. Here's what the weather forecasts say.
