Yashasvi Jaiswal celebrates after his fifty on day four v Bangladesh

India came out all guns blazing in Kanpur, beating the all-time records for the fastest team fifties and hundreds of all time on day four of the rain-hit first India-Bangladesh Test.

India reached 50 in just 18 balls, becoming the first team to get to the mark under 20 balls and beating England's record from two months ago. Rohit Sharma led the charge, smashing an 11-ball 23, with fellow opener Yashasvi Jaiswal taking on the lead thereafter, ending on a 51-ball 72.

Earlier, Bangladesh were dismissed for 233 in the first innings after persistent rain did not allow any action for two-and-a-half days. All five Indian bowlers took at least a wicket each, with Jasprit Bumrah ending with a three-wicket haul.
