Fast bowler Mayank Yadav has been handed his maiden India call-up, while Varun Chakravarthy has been recalled in India's T20I outfit after a long hiatus. Suryakumar Yadav will captain the home side.
Bangladesh will be without their veteran all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, who has retired from T20Is. Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who last represented the country in the shortest format in July 2023, has returned. They have also recalled Parvez Hossain Emon and Rakibul Hasan.
