India

India will be led by Rohit Sharma, while Hardik Pandya has been named his deputy. They have included Mukesh Kumar, the uncapped Bengal, who returned match figures of 2-53 on his Test debut, at Port of Spain. The West Indies are yet to name their squad for the series.

Virat Kohli’s 2,261 runs (at 66.50 and a strike rate of 97) are the most by anyone against the West Indies. No one else even has 2,000 runs against them. Kohli also has nine hundreds against them while no one else has six.

Two hundreds will take Kohli’s count to 11 – the most by a batter against any opposition. Kohli will go past his own record of 10 hundreds against Sri Lanka.
