India travel to the West Indies for three ODIs and five T20Is, with the 50-over games beginning on July 22 — here’s the full schedule, match timings and list of fixtures for WI vs IND 2022.
Just five days after the end of the ODI series against England, India will take on West Indies in the first of three 50-over matches. The ODIs will be held on July 22, July 24 and July 27, before the action shifts to Tarouba for the T20I series. The last two games will be held in Florida.
India have rested a number of senior players for the ODI series, with the Men in Blue missing the likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah. Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya have been rested as well, with the squad being led by Shikhar Dhawan. Ravindra Jadeja will be his deputy for the 50-over games.
Rohit, Pant and Hardik, however, return for the T20Is that will begin on July 29 and run till August 7. Bumrah and Kohli have not been considered for the shortest format either. Reports suggest that Kohli, who is searching for consistency across all formats, had asked the selectors to not include him in the squad.
All three ODIs will be played in Port of Spain in Trinidad, with the T20Is being spread across three venues – Tarouba, Basseterre and Lauderhill in Florida.
