The second match of the unofficial Test series will be played between December 26 and 29 at Willowmoore Park, Benoni. The opening fixture ended in a draw, with Prasidh Krishna claiming 5-43 besides Shardul Thakur’s 76 (98). The duo will not feature in the final match as they are a part of India’s Test team for the two-match Test series in South Africa starting on December 26.
KS Bharat, who captained India A in the previous match, has been drafted into the senior men’s squad as well after Ishan Kishan withdrew from the series citing family reasons, along with Abhimanyu Easwaran replacing Ruturaj Gaikwad, sidelined because of a finger injury.
The start of the game has been delayed due to rain.
